Saltline& Ember
The Story

A Neighbourhood Counter, From The Team Behind Two Coastal Wine Bars.

Eastbourne, BN21

Saltline & Ember is a new neighbourhood seafood restaurant and bar in Eastbourne, minutes from the seafront. Oysters shucked to order, seafood over charcoal, and a menu that changes with the catch — bold, fresh, and dictated by fire and heat.

Charcoal goes on, seafood goes into the Bertha. The room is white-tiled and unfussy, the wine is good, and walk-ins are always welcome. There are vegan-friendly dishes and seasonal produce from our own Sussex smallholding too.
